Work out the engagement rate of any post from likes, comments, saves, shares and followers.
How it is calculated
Engagement rate = (likes + comments + saves + shares) ÷ followers × 100. If you divide by reach instead of followers you get a more accurate figure for a single post.
As a rough guide for Instagram, under 1% is low, 1–3% average, 3–6% good, and above 6% very strong. Smaller accounts tend to have higher rates.
