How to Check If an Account Has Fake Followers
There is no perfect test, but there are a few signs brands look at.
- UPI, PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm
- Start from ₹100
- No email verification
- Order status in your dashboard
Signs to check
- Followers with no profile photo or posts
- Big jumps in follower count with no change in likes
- Very low likes and comments compared with followers
- Comments that are generic emoji only
- Audience location that does not match the account
What this means for buyers
If you buy, keep the numbers in proportion and avoid obvious red flags. Use better account tiers if the profile will be examined.
